As can be seen from the figures, a preferred embodiment of a strap lock 1 according to FIGthe invention, especially intended for use with a trotting reins but which otherwise canbe used in a variety of other areas. The strap lock 1 comprises a rectangular oneformed belt buckle 2 with a closed shape of a square-shaped rod material of metalor plastic and which strap buckle 2 is with one of its opposite sides 3 rotatably attached toa strap or strap 4 just before one end 5. The strap 4 ends after a loop formation6 with a double fold 7 of the same, where the end portion 8 of the double fold 7 is heldtogether by means of a belt plate 9, which end portion 8 after entering through the belt link2 forms said loop formation 6, which is positionable towards the second of the belt buckle 2.opposite free side 10 and the inside 11 of the belt 4 at a tensile load from the belt oropposite end 12 of the strap 4 or from a section outside or after the loop formation 6.
The strap plate 9 comprising the strap lock 1 has a U-shape which is positioned twicethe folding 7 of the belt or strap 4 by means of a legs 13,14 through the belt plate 9extending rivet 15, which compresses these in the direction of each other withthe double fold 7 in between.
As can be seen from the drawings, the belt or belt 4 extends a short distance pastand over the second opposite free side 10 of the belt buckle 2 after entering through itopening for forming an ax 16 and shoulder 17 by means of the belt plate 9, whereinthe double fold 7 is prevented from slipping out of the belt buckle 2 during tensile loading. That part of the bandor the belt 4 which after the double folding 7 extends past and over the belt buckle 2second, opposite free side 10 also has a double fold 18, which is folded inwardsin the direction of the loop formation 6.

Belt lock intended to be locked by means of a one-hand grip and then maintain the reading and with increased tensile load increase the locking force, characterized in that the belt lock (1) comprises a rectangular shaped belt buckle (2) with a closed shape of a square bar of metal or plastic (2) is with one of its opposite sides (3) rotatably attached to a band or strap (4) just before one end (5) and which after a loop formation (6) ends with a double fold (7) thereof, wherein the end portion (8) of the double fold (7) is held together by means of a strap plate (9), which end portion (8) after entering through the strap sleeve (2) forms said loop formation (6), which is positionable against the other opposite of the strap buckle (2) free side (10) and the inside (1 1) of the belt (4) at a tensile load from the opposite end (12) of the belt or belt (4) or from a section outside or after the loop formation (6).
